Politics and Demographics in Knox County
The MetroPulse has a really good article on the politics and demographics of Knox County. (h/t puppy blender). Mostly, it's noting a correlation we all know (positive correlation between urbanism and liberalism), but I liked the precinct-by-precinct map (I'm a sucker for maps).
From my experience, the same trends held in Raleigh, Blacksburg, and Lynchburg. For the curious, I lived in the district labeled with "Cedar Bluff Middle School" and Matt in the redder district just to the south.
